Special Announcement from BW

Dear Patrons and friends:

We hope all of you are well!

We wanted to let everyone know that Bowling World and Gutters Grille will be closing its door to the public effective at the end of the business day today, March 22, 2020. We are doing so in accordance with Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Order 17 and in support of our local and state community. WE will remain closed until further notice. WE believe the efforts being made by everyone in our state and local community will help turn this situation around quickly. We hope to see great healing of those sick and our economy soon. We ask that everyone keep each other in their prayers.

WE so appeciate all of our customers. WE will miss seeing everyone over the next couple of weeks. Thank you for being such great patrons! WE are looking forward seeing everyone in the near future when we re-open our door.

While this is a fluid situation and things are changing almost hourly, we will keep all of our customers up to date on the state of our business on social media. We ask that everyone share this information with their friends. Please be advised that we are working on some great things during this down time and will keep you posted of such.

A Note To Our Guests About The Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks listening and learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our nation and community.  The top priority at Bowling World is the safety and well-being of our guests and team members.  Regardless of the environment, this is our top priority every day.

We are actively monitoring the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Putnam County Health Department and the TN Health Department. WE are paying close attention and are check several times per day for updates on steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus in our community.  While we always strive for exceptionally high standards for cleanliness and safety, we have shared specific instructions with our team members on the importance of additional measures we are taking at this time specifically the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick or are returning from any area of the world or the United States identified as posing a coronavirus related risk.

We remain committed to providing you and your family with a great guest experience and hope that these measures give you confidence that we are taking the necessary precautions in this evolving situation on our end. We want you to do the same.

There is no issue more important to us than making sure we manage this situation as effectively as possible, so you continue to feel confident visiting us.  In the days ahead we will continue to observe the situation and continue to strive to make the best decisions based upon information we receiving.

TO ALL Bowling World Customers:

At Bowling World , the health & wellness of our team and our customers is our #1 priority. We are committed to providing a clean, safe, welcoming and fun entertainment environment, as working on re-inforcing our cleanliness policies and procedures to help protect against the spread of bacteria and germs.

WHAT OUR EMPLOYEES ARE INSTRUCTED TO DO:

Our employees are being instructed to conduct regular and thorough cleaning of all equipment, surfaces, and areas of Bowling World with the use of disinfectant cleaning supplies.

  • All Employees are instructed to be washing their hands according to the CDC hand washing guidelines….for at least 20 seconds with soap and water with special washing attention being payed to their palms and finger tips several times through out their shifts along with the use of hand sanitizers.
  • We will continues to wipe down and clean the counters, the door handles, the seats, the bowling balls, shoes, vending machines, restrooms, lockers, ect. in order to better protect you.
    In addition, we regularly complete professional cleaning of the facility daily.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water. Please sing the “Birthday Song” slowing to insure you are taking the 20 seconds to wash you hand.

  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Cough or sneeze into a tissue or the bend of your elbow sleeves or arm – not into your hands!
  • Avoiding hugging, shaking hands or high fives!
  • Elbow bumps and fist bumps are preferred!
  • Give people a little space. And avoid close contact with anyone who is sick.
  • For your well-being and the well-being of others, if you’re sick please stay home and take care of yourself.
  • With this cold and flu season upon us and heightened awareness around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), please know that we are closely monitoring the situation and will follow instructions and recommendations issued by public health authorities or government agencies as needed.
