Code of conduct & additional rules (2025)
House Safety Rules & Policies
- Health Advisory: Bowling may not be suitable for individuals who are pregnant or have neck, back, or heart conditions, recent surgeries, fresh stitches, or any
physical issues. Always consult your physician before bowling. - One at a Time: Only one person is allowed on a lane at a time unless assisting someone.
- Stay Behind the Foul Line: Lanes are slippery due to oil, so avoid crossing the foul line to prevent falls.
- One Ball at a Time: Please throw only one ball at a time and do not throw a ball if the sweep is down.
- No Running: Running is not permitted in the center at any time.
- Bowling Shoes Required: Wear bowling shoes at all times while bowling. These shoes are to remain indoors to maintain clean soles and reduce injury risks.
- Ball Returns: Never put hands or body parts into the ball returns.
- Food and Drink: Keep all food and drinks off the approach to reduce the risk of potential injuries.
- Report Issues: ASAP…Alert staff to any mechanical problems, spills, or concerns using the Video Intercom on the SuperTouch Screen.
- Bowling Etiquette: Be courteous to bowlers on adjacent lanes by allowing them to roll their ball before stepping onto the approach.
- Bumper Safety: Only Bowling World employees are permitted to adjust bumpers. Please avoid touching them to prevent injuries. Please note the warning label in
white on the bumpers! - Bowling Ramps: Ramps are available for children or others who may need special assistance. Let us know at check-in if we can help you with a ramp.
- Post-Game Cleanup: Leave all bowling balls on the ball return racks for sanitization. Check your seating area for belongings and please respectfully dispose of all
trash in the designated bins.
Code of Conduct
ALL GUESTS must adhere to the following rules to ensure a safe, family-friendly environment!
- Respectful Behavior: No foul language or offensive language of any kind will be allowed. No lewd gestures or sexual gestures of any kind will be allowed. No
offensive clothing or clothing with offensive language, graphic gestures, or symbols of any kind will be allowed. OFFENDERS WILL BE OFFERED SOLUTIONS OR
INSTRUCTED TO LEAVE AND MAY BE SUSPENDED OR EXPELLED PERMANENTLY FROM THE PROPERTY. - No Gang Affiliation: Gang-related clothing or symbols are not allowed.
- No Smoking or Vaping Indoors: Smoking is permitted only in the designated smoking area outside the East end double doors. Smoking outside the front entrance,
in the rock garden, or near the West end concourse door is prohibited. Proper disposal of cigarette butts is required. - No Fighting or Disruptive Behavior: Fighting is strictly prohibited and loud, intimidating, or threatening actions are strictly prohibited. Individuals will be arrested
and permanently banned.
Profanity, abusive language, or gestures, as well as verbal attacks on guests or employees, will not be tolerated. - No Drugs: The possession or use of illegal substances will be reported to the local law enforcement and individuals permanently banned from the property.
- No Outside Food or Drinks: Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not permitted, except for birthday cakes or cupcakes for pre-planned events. You must
contact us in advance for approval. - Children Must Be Supervised: Children should not be left unattended at any time.
- Dress Code: Attire must be appropriate for a Family-Friendly atmosphere. See “Respectful Behavior”.
- No Weapons: Weapons of any kind are prohibited. Individuals
found with weapons will be subject to suspension or expulsion at the discretion of the Management. - Property Damage & Liability: Guests are responsible for any damage caused by misconduct including rough play, drunkenness and fighting. Violators may face
legal consequences, including arrest and prosecution.
Alcohol Policy
- Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
- Individuals purchasing Alcohol on the premises will be carded regardless of age.
- Purchased alcohol must not be taken outside.
- Excessive alcohol consumption may result in denial of entry, ejection without refund, probationary suspension, or a permanent ban.
- Drunken behavior may lead to arrest.

- Violations may result in ejection without refund and, in severe cases, an indefinite suspension or permanent ban.
Pets
- All guests are expected to maintain a respectful, family-friendly attitude.

Qualified Registered Service Animals
- Qualified Registered Service Animals are allowed. They must not display disruptive or threatening behavior.
Lane-to-Lane Chat Service
- This feature is monitored to ensure appropriate use. It may be disabled if necessary.
Compliance & Legal Policies
- Bowling World & Gutters Grille reserves the right to revoke access to communication services at any time.
- We may disclose information as required by law, regulation, or legal request.
- Managers, hosts, and assistants are not authorized company spokespersons; their views do not necessarily represent those of Bowling World & Gutters Grille.
- Guests must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as our posted policies and safety rules.
PLEASE REPORT ANY VIOLATIONS OF THE ABOVE LISTED TO A MANAGER, AN ASSISTANT MANAGER OR GUEST SERVICES EMPLOYEE IMMEDIATELY!
