WHAT THIS EVENT MEANS TO THE CANCER RECOVERY PROGRAM.
The YMCA’s Cancer Recovery Program empower around 50 survivors a year through a six-month membership and focused 8 to 12 weeks of survivor care one-on-one sessions!
The program is TOTALLY FREE! Donor support covers 100% of the cost so participants can focus on healing and recovery
All sponsors have the deepest gratitude of the Cancer Recovery Programs participants, the Putnam County Family YMCA and Bowling World!

The Rollin with the Pros - Strike out Cancer event means the world to us at the YMCA. After a cancer diagnosis, surgeries and treatments, a survivor can be left feeling overwhelmed, weak and sometimes isolated. The YMCA Cancer Recovery Program is here to step in alongside survivors to help survivors gain strength and encouragement. I love this event so much because it brings people together to make a real difference in the lives of others. At the YMCA no one fights alone!

This program gives me encouragement and hope that we can recover from
all the treatment our bodies have gone through. If it were not for the Cancer
Recovery Program, I would have been curled up hibernating in bed. The
program gave direction to recovery and a way to connect with other
survivors.
